Pity Party over... at least for now. :)

Okay, I woke up this morning determined to be more at peace with this adoption journey. God is working. He is bringing them home. I have seen Him work in many ways and in many hearts during this 14+ month journey. He cares, and He will bring them home to us! So for now, I sit and I wait, and I pray....

AND I REJOICE because God is bigger than any problem or delay that might arise! And because His heart is FOR the ORPHANS, the FORGOTTEN, the LONELY.... I know that He has dug in and gotten "His hands dirty!" He is their WARRIOR, and He is fighting for them!

HE sets the lonely in families [Psalms 68: 6a], and He will bring the girls home to their forever family!

  1. That's a great way to look at it, and I think you are right. They will be home soon, just keep focusing on that.

  2. AMEN friend! :) PRAYING for yall :)

    big hugs,

  3. We will share in your joy when the day comes you see those girls again. It IS so hard when someone is "missing" for so long. Praying for no more delays for you. God bless, Jennifer

  4. Yes, my friend, I so know and understand how you're feeling. There is nothing quite like a mommy with an aching heart, waiting to bring her angels home. It is just so terribly painful.

I know you hear it all the time, but it is true--your day will come. It sounds like things really are moving along with your adoption. Every day that passes gets you just a little bit closer. I think it is harder for you because you've held them, loved them, kissed their sweet little faces. So hard!

Know that I am here--cheering you along and waiting with anticipation until you can hold those treasures forever.
