Lost

adapted from a poem written by Rev Martin Neimoller 1945

First He called for the martyrs, but I didn't speak up because I didn't feel called to die for the Lord.

Then He called for the missionaries, but I didn't speak up because I didn't feel called to make spreading the word of God my life's priority.

Then He called for those willing to rescue the poor, the orphaned, and the 'least of these', but I didn't speak up because I didn't feel secure enough with all I had to share it so unconditionally.

Then He called for the lost, and I couldn't speak at all because I had finally realized this was me.

*** guess I am feeling wordy today. I had a great prayer time with the sun and the SON shining on my face and heart this morning!

  1. Thanks for visiting my blog. I noticed the quote you had by James Ray. Did you attend one of his seminars? He's amazing!
    Good luck and God Bless.

  2. Thank you for your visit! I've haven't paid too much attention to my blog lately because sometimes i feel it's not worth the time i spend with it, because i think no one will actually read it... Therefore, i feel happy by sharing my thoughts with a friend of mine who i know takes the time to listen and who i am sure understands and shares my faith. However, thank you anyway for your visit. I look at it as a sort of encouragement to keep writing there.
About the book by John Pipers, no i haven't read it yet but i will look for it. Thanks for the suggestion too.
May GOD keep blessing you abundantly!! I haven't read too much of your blog yet but, from the glance i gave it, i definitely want to come back and read more. You got me curious about your "ministry", about the way GOD bless you to serve Him...I really must read more of your blog...
    Greetings from Portugal!
