If I can be a drama queen for just a post or two...

These words pretty much describe where I am at today...

Despair:

# a state in which all hope is lost or absent;
# abandon hope; give up hope; lose heart;
# the feeling that everything is wrong and nothing will turn out well;

Depression:

# Depression is a state of low mood and aversion to activity
# gloomy: filled with melancholy and despondency

Doubt:

# consider unlikely or have doubts
# the state of being unsure of something
# uncertainty about the truth or factuality or existence of something

Dicouraged:

# demoralized: made less hopeful or enthusiastic
# deprived of courage or hope; take away hope from

Brokenhearted:

# full of sorrow
# Feeling depressed, despondent, or hopeless, especially over losing a love

and all because these little girls below are an ocean away!

  1. Don't despair! You DO have hope, and hope gives you the strength to endure in even the most lonely of places....

    I know you long for them...YEARN for them.

    But try, my friend, to focus on the shining light that IS at the end of this tunnel...

    The shining light is HOPE.

  2. No word, huh? The Lord is really dealing with me today after our "news"...the message is clear: SURRENDER! I'm trying to just let Him be God..and surrender my plans, my hopes, my TIMELINE...it feels impossible..because the truth is I don't think I trust Him as much as I say I do..I'm scared to let go..because it feels like I'm letting go of HER..:(...But yes, we still have HOPE..and we will hold each other up, and pray for each other, and rejoice together when they are in our arms again!! But for now...Lord, help us surrender and give thanks in this circumstance.

  4. From someone who is there. I tell you to not loose hope. Stay in the word. Even if all you can do is sit in your PJs and listen to praise music and read your bible. Reach out to your dearest friends and focus on what is true, pure and noble. Gods ear is turned to the Orphan. He hears their cries. Hugs to you.

  6. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.
